Dedicated to the memory of Peter Stanley
Peter Stanley, was born in Plymouth on May 11, 1954. He is the loving and much loved husband of Christine, Dad of Paul and Joanne, Grandad to Adam, Lucy and Joshua, and Father in Law to Lisa and William, a man to whom family was everything.
He was kind, generous and loving with a great sense of humour.
Peter passed away in LOROS following a short illness on 16th September 2024 surrounded by his family.
The family would welcome donations to LOROS for anyone wishing to honour Peter in this way. The family wish to purchase a cuddle bed for the hospice ward where Peter was so well cared for.
A cuddle bed allows families to cherish those remaining moments of closeness. In the final days and hours of a patients journey, the warmth of a loved one's embrace can provide immeasurable comfort. These specialised beds, equipped with essential clinical features, extend to accommodate loved ones, creating a space for uninterrupted cuddling in the precious time they have left together.
